It’s not the kind of accessory you’d normally expect a young starlet to be holding on a night out.

But Pixie Lott arrived at Runway nightclub in London last night brandishing a mask made out of a photograph of a male friend’s face.

The singer and her female friend could scarcely contain their glee at the joke as they strolled into the venue arm in arm.

The mask, which bears a photograph of a man who appears to squinting into the sun and curling his lip slightly, was perhaps a birthday surprise for the man behind the mask.

Despite the mask, Pixie, 21, was the epitomy of glamour as she was ushered into the club with a group of friends.

Wearing a pearl-coloured lace minidress under a black blazer with a white scarf, the pop singer was also carrying a bunch of white flowers that bore more than a passing resemblance to a bridal bouquet.

Black tights, killer ankle boots and a slick of red lipstick gave the the singer’s outfit an edgier look.

And it’s hardly surprising Pixie looked every inch the fashionista given her recent visit to London Fashion Week.

The pop singer was pictured in the front row at fashion house PPQ’s catwalk show at Somerset House.

Pixie also professed to be a fan of Sienna and sister Savannah Miller’s label Twenty8Twelve.
