Pixie Lott reckons she’s the ultimate single girl and is happiest when hanging out with her friends.

Mama Do songstress Pixie Lott has revealed she’s loving the single life, and reckons her dating status gives her a bit of an edge.

“I think being single gives me more of a sparkle,” she enthused.

But the star added it’s hard for her to compare single life with being in a relationship, as she’s never been in love.

She added: “It’s hard for me to judge because I haven’t been in a really long relationship before, and I’ve never been in love.”

Despite being happily single, the 19-year-old hasn’t ruled out relationships and says she’s ‘up for a laugh.’

“I’m definitely open to dating,” she mused. “I love sitting around and talking about it with my girlfriends afterwards.

“That’s the best part!

“I always feel at my best when I’m with my friends, and we’re all going out and having fun.”

Bombshell Pixie, who isn’t short of admirers, reckons when she does find a man she’d make a pretty good girlfriend.

“I think I’m a nice [girlfriend!],” she giggled. “I’m pretty easy-going. I wouldn’t be one of those naggy ones; I’d just be laid-back and up for a laugh.”

But she said she’s never had her heart-broken as she’s never been in a serious relationship.

“I haven’t [ever had my heart broken]… she said. “I guess I have had my heart broken from other things – but not from relationships.”

And the plucky 19-year-old reckons she doesn’t get nervous about anything and feels totally comfortable performing to big crowds.

“I get so excited before I go on stage, I jump around and go crazy, especially if it’s a festival or a really big show,” she laughed.

“I’m definitely at my most comfortable and confident onstage because I absolutely love it.

“As long as I’m enjoying it I know the audience will too… I don’t think anything makes me nervous actually – I’m just not a nervous person.”

It seems Pixie might be the next Brit to eye up a move across the pond, as she revealed she loves LA.

“[I would] definitely [like to move to LA] for a few years,” she said.

“You’ve got to make life as exciting as possible. I’d miss my friends but every time I go there I try to invite them anyway – on my recent trip, two of my best friends came for the whole time.

“Everyone in LA is so friendly and happy and smiley, which I love, but then everyone’s like, ‘It’s not genuine you know’. But I just like to have friendly people around.”
