She might have been hobnobbing with the rich and the famous at Royal Ascot yesterday but Pixie Lott will always be a true Essex girl at heart.

The singer was snapped looking very glamorous – even in different colour shoes – as she ended her day at the races at a club in Brentwood.

The 19-year-old went dancing in her big race-day hat, and short, sexy black dress that showed off her stunning pair of legs.

Pixie had been with a group of friends at Ascot, enjoy the trappings of her fame in the hospitality tent run by the nightclub Boujis.

With DJs playing from the exclusive club’s big party nights, a great view of the racetrack, five-course lunch and a complimentary bar, it’s not wonder she and her friends were in high spirits.

And they decided to continue the party with a trip into London for some dinner at pan-Asian restaurant Cocoon in Mayfair

But the night didn’t stop there for the Essex gang as they decided to take the party on and jumped in a waiting car to be whisked away to the Eclipse nightclub in Brentwood.

And despite probably having a few shandies, Pixie did very well to compose herself as she climbed into the back of a car.

She headed to the nightclub still in the dress she wore at Ascot, which was trimmed with orange silk and a black chiffon scarf and peep-toed burnt orange shoes.

But being a trendy young thing, Pixie wore one burnt orange shoe and teamed it with an identical one in black.

Being a huge football fan, Pixie also took the opportunity to fly the flag for England, as they prepare to take on Algeria tomorrow evening in the second group stage game of the World Cup.

She flashed St George’s Crosses on her finger and toe nails as she reclined in the back of the cab.

It is the second time she has showed her allegiance to her country since the competition began.

A keen West Ham fan, Pixie sported an England shirt as she jetted out of London en route to New York the day before England took on the USA in the first game in South Africa.
