Rising Brentwood starlet Pixie Lott seemingly emerged from nowhere last summer and quickly established herself in the UK music scene.

Now she is showing no sign of slowing down and has her eyes set on world domination – with her next stop the V Festival, on Sunday.

She broke out with her first single, Mama Do, which went straight to number one in the UK Singles Chart and was followed up with Boys and Girls, which also topped the charts.

A platinum album, two number one singles and two MTV awards later, Pixie has undeniably made it.

She has been busy on the summer festival scene, making waves with her stylish good looks and her powerhouse voice.

So is she going to give a memorable performance at the V Festival?

“I love a bit of dancing while performing,” chimes Pixie, “so yes, you can expect me to show a few moves on the stage. I love to see recording artists do the whole package.”

Pixie has experienced the Isle of Wight, i-Tunes and T4 festivals this summer and enjoyed every minute of them.

“You get friendly with most of the artists as we’re in the charts together and all tend to hang out backstage at festivals,” says the 19-year-old.

This summer also saw her launch her own collection for fashion brand Lipsy, so fans can rest assured she will look the part.

The Pixie Festival collection mixes vintage-style dresses, bleached denim, fringed waistcoats, printed vests and maxi dresses. She is also responsible for a Pixie Party range, featuring oversized animal prints, embellished chiffon and sexy studded dresses.

“I think it’s amazing to see girls out and about in my clothes,” says Pixie.

Thanks to the success of her debut range, she has a new collection due next month.

But the family girl is still clear where her true passion lies.

“I want to be really respected as a live artist and I can’t wait to go on tour later this year. I just want to keep touring until I’m old.”
