Pixie Lott ‘eager for James Morrison duet’

Pixie Lott has admitted that she is keen to record a duet with James Morrison.

The 18-year-old claimed that there are several artists who she would like to collaborate with in the future, but said that Morrison is at the top of her wish list.

“I’d absolutely love to do a duet with James Morrison,” she told Mizz. “That would be fantastic.

“There are loads of others, too. Stevie Wonder is one of my idols and Chris Martin from Coldplay. Oh, and Asher Roth, that new rapper. I think that’d be fresh!”

Lott went on to say that she also admires plenty of female acts.
She added: “Adele is my favourite female artist – just everything about her, her whole vibe! Christina Aguilera and Beyoncé, too. And I like a lot of old stars as well.”

River Island teams up with celebrities to launch charity T-Shirt line

Alesha Dixon, Pixie Lott, Kelly Rowland and four-piece band Kid British have teamed up with River Island to create an exclusive range of T shirts for charity, The Trust.

River Island Presents…T’s for The Trust range have been created by River Island Designers and the celebrities all of whom are Prince’s Trust Ambassadors and are said to reflect each star’s personal style.

Pixie Lott said: “My T-shirt dress is everything it should be – cheeky, fun and cool. I’m hoping it will raise a lot of money for The Prince’s Trust as it’s a cause close to my heart”.

The celebrity-inspired designs will go on sale at River Island stores on 11 November, with all profits going to The Trust to help change young lives.

Pixie Lott: ‘Fame’s not changed me’

Pixie Lott has claimed that fame has not changed her.

The 18-year-old, who recently scored two number one hits with her first two singles ‘Mama Do’ and ‘Boys and Girls’, said that she is not about to forget her roots.

In an interview with Bliss, the singer said: “I spotted an ad in The Stage newspaper for my first manager and he introduced me to lots of people and opened all the doors for me. My mum was a bit wary at first, but thankfully she went along with it in the end.”

Despite her newfound fame, Lott insisted that her friends do not treat her any different.

“I’m still exactly the same person and I think I always will be,” she added. “I’ve got a big bunch of close mates and everyone’s really excited that it’s all going so well.”
